Not many stylists can say they’ve styled Sophia Loren’s hair – so let us introduce you to our Salon Director Gian-Luca Sessa.
Armed with a degree from art school and fluent in four languages, Luca first entered the hairdressing industry 25 years ago, starting out in his home country of Italy. His impressive career has seen him work in Italian television, owning a salon and going personal styling for Sophia Loren. Luca then made his way to London to continue his career and now works at Gatsby & Miller as the Artistic Director.
Luca has a passion for art, fashion and style and enjoys making women look good. An expert in colouring and cutting, he especially likes working on a restyle, where he can give his guest a different, customised look that ties in with their personality and lifestyle.
With a love of art and culture, Luca takes inspiration from his frequent travels around Europe and America as well as from classic Renaissance art. When Luca’s not being creative in the salon, he’s being creative at home, where he likes to draw and paint using watercolours and oil.
